Sony Mobile has begun to roll a new firmware update for the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact (E5803, E5823) with build number 32.0.A.5.32. It is unclear whether this update is the same that Sony’s support team referred to yesterday, bringing the touchscreen fix for the white Xperia Z5 Compact models. However, users are reporting that the update improves performance. If you have updated your handset let us know what changes you’ve noticed below.
The white Compact I received (and reviewed) had a bunch of screen weirdness – probably because the White model was first to roll off the production line.
The Banana Paddle Pop Compact I’m currently rocking has not had those same touchscreen bugs. Now I just need the camera app to launch a little faster and I’ll be a happy Xperia Compact user.
