But it’s safe to say that if the acquisition is indeed real, Beats is far and away the most successful business venture in which Adams has been involved. Though his name is not on the product — that would be Dr. Dre, the stage name of rapper and mega-producer Andre Young — he is the company’s third equity partner alongside Iovine and Young.
