Twitter perma-bans Milo Yiannopoulos

Twitter has permanently suspended the account of Breitbart tech editor Milo Yiannopoulos, a day after the infamous internet troll helped incite his followers to send a torrent of racist abuse to Ghostbusters star Leslie Jones. Twitter confirmed that Yiannopoulos would be kept off its service for good in the future, telling Recode and BuzzFeed that it would find any new account he creates in the future, and suspend it.

Twitter grew some balls and banned one if its most spiteful, hateful and obnoxious users after he spawned an abusive campaign against Ghostbusters star Leslie Jones.

Lots of cries from idiots claiming “free speech” forgetting Twitter aren’t owned by the US government and Yiannopoulos’ use of Twitter clearly violates their terms of use.

I for one applaud the move. We can only hope Pauline Hanson’s is next!
