TPG have offered to buy iiNet and iiNet’s board has said yes. News of this just came out, so will be interesting to see the details of what’s going to change. Lots of people love iiNet, not many people like TPG (but love their pricing). I remember when it was iiNet doing all the buying of smaller ISPs like Westnet, Netspace and more recently Internode. Now the buyer becomes the buyee.
