Telstra services have gone down across the country for mobile, home phone and internet customers.
According to the telco’s service status page, a “current interruption” is affecting 2G, 3G, 4G, ADSL and home phone services.
With no updates coming from the telco beyond “we know there’s a problem” it likely means they have no idea what the problem is (yet). Either that or it’s so big they have no idea how to get it back online.
Obviously it’s not a great situation for the millions of affected Telstra customers to be in. Spare a thought for their customer service staff on the front line though. They’ll know just as much as you do right now and dealing with a deluge of abuse, calls, messages and tweets.
