Star Wars Battlefront returns this year with single player

The follow-up to multiplayer shooter Star Wars Battlefront is coming later this year, and according to EA it will feature a number of improvements over its predecessor. Chief among them is the addition of a single-player campaign, one of the biggest missing pieces from the original release.

Star Wars Battlefront was a beautiful title but, for most, boring to play. For casual gamers it would quickly turn into a repetitive death cycle with limited time played as the universe’s heroes or villains, which is what everyone really wanted.

It’s a very similar story to Titanfall and it’s sequel, which turned out to be one of the best titles of 2016. Let’s hope Battlefront follows suit.
