Spotify Expands Free Streaming to All Devices

Christina Warren of Mashable:

Spotify announced on Wednesday that it is expanding its free streaming option to all devices. This means non-paying users can listen to individual tracks and albums of their choice using the Spotify app for iOS and Android tablets.

So the rumours were true!

The coolest part of the announcement is that iPads are now treated like proper computers, so you’ll get full access to pick and choose tunes for free on the iPad. On iPhones and Android phones, the free tunes are available as predefined playlists that you can shuffle, with no limit on skipping dud tracks.
