PS5 teardown video appears

Have you ever wanted to watch a video of a Japanese man pointing out all the ports on a PlayStation 5 and opening one up? Well now’s your chance because PlayStation US have released a video of just that. With just one catch. It’s entirely in Japanese.

The video does have some interesting aspects to it that you don’t need to speak Japanese to understand. For a start we see the ports up close for the first time. The PS5 will have 1 USB 3.0 Type A port on the front, along with a USB-C port. Meanwhile on the rear are 2 USB 3.0 Type A ports, a HDMI port and Ethernet jack.

We also get confirmation on just how gigantic the PS5 is, dwarfing Sony’s VP of Mechanical Design, and the video’s host, Yasuhiro Ootori.
