Sony announced today at Gamescom that their new Playstation 4 console will land in Australia and Europe on November 29th. The console will sell for an RRP of $549.
They’ve also set up an Australian pre-order page, listing a range of Australian retail stores stocking the console for launch including Big W, Dick Smith, EB Games, Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi & Sony Stores.
The US will have a two-week headstart on us; their launch is set for November 15th.
No word on an exact launch date for the Xbox One yet, though. Microsoft have stated it will be released at some point in November.
