Play Ubisoft’s new Battle-Royale shooter ‘Hyper Scape’ now!

Oh hey, Ubisoft have a Battle-Royale game now too…

Set in the fictitious city of Neo-Arcadia, Hyper Scape, is a fast-paced, intense experience that brings a level of verticality not seen before in a Battle-Royale before.

Gameplay will seem relatively familiar to lovers of the genre, whilst introducing new mechanics, game modes and a sense of style that sets Hyper Scape apart from others.

Also new is highly integrated level of streaming functionality courtesy of the Crowncast Twitch extension, which allows players to directly interact with their audience and invite them to play at the touch of a button.

Announced today the Open Beta for PC includes four game modes Crown Rush Solo, a 100-player free-for-all version, a 3-player squad mode Crown Rush Squad & two limited time modes: Hack Runner Squad and Turbo Mode Squad.

Hyper Scape innovates and twists the battle royale formula in many ways, such as the unpredictable Decay which dissolves the map of Neo-Arcadia into different patterns, or the unique Echo mechanic that keeps players active in the battle even when they’re down. At the end of a Hyper Scape match, the climactic showdown phase starts when the Hyper Scape crown spawns on the map. Players have two different ways to claim victory, either by picking up and carrying the crown for 45 seconds or by being the last player or squad standing.
