A crap-tonne of data from Nintendo and their co-developers has hit the web, revealing information and secrets behind the development of some of their biggest classics.
It’s being referred to as “The Gigaleak” and contains everything from the source code of F-Zero, prototypes of Yoshi’s Island & Mario Kart as well as the full development history of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl.
One of the most disturbing revelations is the evolution of the much-loved character Yoshi. His original form resembles that of a scary velociraptor from Jurassic Park more than the cuddly adorable incarnation he thankfully became.
