Angus Kidman at finder.com.au:
While Apple has announced that it will be releasing the plus-sized iPad Pro, which sports a 12.9 inch screen, in November, it hasn’t yet announced Australian pricing. What it has done is raised the prices on almost all of its existing iPad models.
This price increase by Apple (likely to keep the iPad prices in line with the plummeting Aussie dollar) doesn’t appear to have made it to the Apple reseller ecosystem yet. For example, JB Hifi is still listing their 16GB iPad Air 2 for AUD$618 vs Apple’s AUD$699.
So if you don’t care about the iPad Pro but still want to upgrade, I reckon now’s a good time.
Update: Dick Smith has the same model for $598, and Officeworks is cheaper again, at $569. Bargain!
