New Crash Bandicoot & PSVR support in Hitman 3 announced at PS ‘State of Play’

PlayStation’s latest “State of Play” update was filled with exciting news, but easily the biggest announcement is that there’s a new Crash Bandicoot coming this October!

It’s the first Crash game in a decade! That’s crazy! Landing just in time for a swan song to the PS4 the new Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will be released on October 22nd.

In addition to all things Crash a new mode called “N.Verted” will allow players to enter a Bumpa berry fuelled mirror mode and traverse through neon wastelands, old timey film sets that crank up gameplay speed and other new worlds.

Whilst unveiled at PlayStation’s event Crash 4 will also be coming to the Xbox One, launching on the same date.

Hitman 3 for PSVR

In addition to the announcement of Crash, an update to Hitman 3 will bring PSVR support to the game in January 2021.

I’m super excited to check this one out and think it could be the hook that finally pulls me into the franchise I know so many absolutely adore.

From the breathtaking start in a Dubai skyscraper to the final campaign mission of Hitman 3 and the dramatic conclusion to the entire trilogy, it can all be enjoyed in first-person VR.
