NBN Co was left with a damage bill topping $1 million in the last financial year to repair network assets that were accidentally or deliberately broken.
Though the company did not break down how many instances of damage fell into the deliberate category, it said the average cost of each callout was $4149.
Wowsers, $4k average is NOT cheap. What are people doing to these things burning them to the ground??!
Once again another argument for NOT going with FTTN. Every other solution essentially removes the need for large street level equipment boxes filled with expensive batteries and tech. Like we needed another reason!
