NBN has updated its online “address checker” – instead of telling you when NBN is available in your area, it now tells you when you can contact a retailer to get connected, as well as what kind of technology will be used.
Last week my address said nothing more than “planned” so at least now I know it’s over two years away and I should setup that point-to-point long distance network I’ve wanted to for the past six months.
It looks like they’ve re-introduced the information regarding which version of the NBN you’ll be getting at your address in [x] years time too. A welcome return that’s destined to infuriate many when the dreaded “FTTN” appears.
