Apple’s Developer Center is reporting iOS 7 is installed on nearly three quarters of all iOS devices in use. Their sample was taken from iOS App Store use over a 7-day period ending last week (ending December 1st). The number represents a 10% jump in their reported October numbers.
It’s not the entire picture, but it is an impressive snapshot of how rapidly the iOS ecosystem updates as a whole. No doubt we’ll hear more about iOS 7 and how well the new iPhone and iPads have sold when Apple report their quarterly figures next month.
