Google Targets the Enterprise Meeting Room With Chromebox

Google Chrome Blog:

Chromebox for meetings brings together Google+ Hangouts and Google Apps in an easy-to-manage Chromebox, making it simpler for any company to have high-definition video meetings.

Ooh, this is a pretty interesting product. For $999, you get a box, mounting bracket, HD camera, mic/speaker, remote & customer support that rivals the Cisco setup equivalent that goes for about $15,000.

There’s a good review from someone who scored a pre-release version. Early days, but it looks like a no-brainer if your organisation is already using Google Apps.
