Google Assistant will finally arrive on Sonos next week (in America)

After months of beta testing, Sonos is nearly ready to roll out Google Assistant to its Sonos One and Sonos Beam smart speakers.

Miracles do happen!

After years of promises that it was coming it looks like Sonos owners will finally have the ability to utilise one or more digital voice assistants in one of the first truly platform agnostic systems available.

Just as the Alexa rollout played out it will only be available in the US at first with more countries to follow. It took nearly three months for Aussies to get official Alexa support so whilst it may be next week for those willing to phaf around with their country settings Aussies will realistically need to wait a while yet. Sorry!
