Juris Shibayama, MD – owner of a Tesla model S involved in a fire, had his letter to Tesla published on the Tesla blog:
This experience does not in any way make me think that the Tesla Model S is an unsafe car. I would buy another one in a heartbeat.
Elon Musk wrote about this incident a month ago, so it’s nice to hear what the customer has to say too. I’ve kept a passing interest in the Tesla and any teething problems reported in the media and to be honest, they seem as safe, if not safer than an internal combustion engined car.
