Former ‘Good Game’ hosts to launch new show on Channel 7

Junkee can reveal that the two hosts leaving Good Game, Stephanie “Hex” Bendixsen and Nich “NichBoy” Richardson, informed the ABC earlier this year that they were leaving the network to a join a new show at Channel Seven. Details about the new gaming show have not been revealed.

Oh man this scares me. As we talked about on this week’s podcast tech and video game TV shows on commercial networks tend to be a gigantic cluster fuck of paid-for content.

Nich is an experienced show runner and has been around TV a long time. He worked for many years on ABC’s “The Roast” as its head writer and knows how these things go.

I wish them all the best. It’s sad the ABC chose to axe instead of compete as there’s definitely room for both.
