Flipboard Magazine: Weekend Read!

In last week’s podcast, we were chatting about Flipboard. I mentioned rather than try to use it as a full-blown RSS reader, I prefer to dedicate Flipboard to longer-form, more laid-back type content. The kind of thing I can make myself a morning coffee, kick back, put my feet up and really dig into.

It’s my Weekend Read!

After the podcast, I remembered that a little while ago Flipboard added the ability to flip articles into your own magazine. So I went ahead and flipped a few things which would be typical fare for my weekend read. Here’s some topics:

  • Rick Rubin & Yeezus
  • Caffeine on the creative mind
  • Speed chess
  • Adventure Time does a scene from The Wire
  • The world of mini-amps
  • Why are book reviewers always name-checking ‘The Catcher in the Rye”?

I may not do this every week, but this is the kind of stuff that forms the basis of my RSS getaway every weekend. Hope you enjoy.
