The RoboMaster S1 is DJI’s intelligent educational robot that lets users dive into the world of robotics, programming, and AI through exciting features and gameplay.
I had no idea this thing existed but apparently its been around for a couple months already!
The RoboMaster S1 is DJI’s is kind of similar to Amazon’s DeepRacer, which a bunch of AI nerds will go on about, but this adds guns, FPV, omnidirectional movement and pressure sensors.
In other words it shits all over a little car that goes in circles. In terms of possibilities and fun anyways.
The robot has 56 programmable components with 6 AI modules which can be coded using Scratch & Python.
The little AI-robot-that-could ain’t cheap though. A$899 bones will be required to get this bad boy into your hands. Aimed at educational institutions I would’ve loved this at my school growing up but I fear its price may keep it out of reach for most budding AI engineers.
