DJI announce the Phantom 4

The Phantom 4 makes flying easy and fun. Control it at a tap, and automatically avoid obstacles or follow your favorite subjects to create video and photos that amaze. Advanced technologies and an updated camera combine to make your memories unforgettable.

The new Phantom 4 has had a complete redesign over its predecessor. Most notably the shifting of its propellors to a higher point to avoid them being shown in footage whilst the drone is flown at high speeds. An important shift, especially as this new version is capable of speeds up to 72km/h!

Other additions include a new obstacle avoidance system, ActiveTrack for the automatic tracking of highlighted subjects, 28 minute fly time and 5km range.

The Phantom 4 is on sale now for A$2399 and ships March 15th.
