Disney+ to launch in Australia Nov 19th

Disney+: the ultimate streaming destination for movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic.

Disney has revealed their new streaming service will hit Aussie shores just one week after its release in North America.

The new service comes in slightly cheaper than Netflix starting at A$8.99 a month.

Cheaper than Netflix & Stan there are no details as to whether the price includes high-definition content or multiple screens, but expect the service to follow suit and charge more for added features.

Just as short on details are what content we can expect. Stan has a 1 year deal to screen Marvel content in Australia, which is yet to expire and may mean they’re absent for Aussies.

The new Star Wars show “The Mandalorian” will be there though, the service’s one major exclusive show to be available at launch.
