Australian Craig Wright revealed to be Bitcoin creator “Satoshi Nakamoto”

Australian tech entrepreneur Craig Wright, long-suspected of having created cryptocurrency Bitcoin, has confirmed his identity to three publications, ending years of speculation.

Wright had his Sydney home raided by the Australian Federal Police (AFP) and has since been hounded by journalists searching for solid proof of his hidden Bitcoin identity. Seems enough is enough with his family, friends and employees being harassed Wright has beat them to it confessing to the BBC, the Economist and GQ.

Not wanting to become a figurehead for the digital currency Wright’s confession will certainly thrust him into the spotlight for now.
