AuDA decide to allow direct .au registrations soon

Organisations and individuals will be able to register domain names directly in the top-level .au, as per the recommendations of a policy panel appointed by auDA last year.

Although there’s no official date as to when resellers will have the opportunity to start doing this it’s another big shake-up for the domain industry.

Squatters will no doubt be clearing their credit cards in anticipation.
