Apple bringing new education features to iOS 9.3

For those working in the education field, iOS 9.3 looks indeed like a major milestone. Teachers will be able to guide students through a lesson with a new Classroom app, admins will get access to a new Apple School Manager portal, and Managed Apple IDs will be introduced. But the biggest change is Shared iPad, which will essentially bring multi-user capabilities to the iPad.

Woah. Tons of improvements to both teaching and admin sides of rolling with iPads in a classroom. Shared iPads and the Classroom app in particular will be huge in schools.

Arguably the biggest feature for me: teachers can launch an app on every iPad in a classroom and then lock it in place. This makes assessment on an iPad about a million times more viable. Very cool stuff.
