On my return from Asia, I was also thrilled to find this guy waiting to greet me on the front lawn — love the new #AndroidKitKat statue and can’t wait to release the next version of the platform that is as sweet as the candy bar that’s one of our team’s favorites:)

Not a lot of detail on features just yet, but KitKat (not Key Lime Pie) will officially be the name of Android 4.4. The name itself was a surprise for many people, including Googlers.

You may ask; how can Google use the name of a tradmarked chocolate bar? Well, Nestle has officially partnered up with Android and will be delivering over 50 million bars with Android branding to 19 markets across the world.
