50 Cent took a chance on bitcoin years before anyone knew what cryptocurrency even was … and it’s paid off more than 7 million times over.
Rapper and now-apparent Bitcoin genius, 50 Cent, had the forethought to sell his 2014 album “Animal Ambition” online with the digital currency as a payment option.
At the time he sold approximately US$400k in sales via the currency, which then sat dormant (was forgotten about) for 4 years as the currency’s value exploded.
Now, out of pure luck and potential lack of knowledge on how to withdraw the funds, “Fiddy” now has a Bitcoin wallet stacked with approximately US$7m.
