NBN Co defends its continued FTTN deployment

NBN Co’s chief network engineering officer Peter Ryan on defending their decision to continue with FTTN despite FTTC clearly being the next step:

“The NBN is like an enormously long train,” Ryan said.

“You can’t just bring things to a complete stop and change direction, it just doesn’t work that way and never will.”

That’s funny, that’s exactly what the Liberal government did when they were elected and stopped deploying FTTP.
