The Australian release date for Jobs, the highly-anticipated movie on the early life of Steve Jobs, has been set for August 29th.

Starring Ashton Kutcher, the film has been written and directed by Matt Whiteley and Joshua Michael Stern. It will be distributed in Australia by independent distributor Pinnacle Films.

The movie was originally set for release in April, but was delayed after a mixed reception at the Sundance Film festival earlier this year. The trailer was also criticized by Steve Wozniak, who initially thought the tone of the first preview was ‘totally wrong‘, but has since said in a later interview that he’ll reserve judgement until he’s seen the film in it’s entirety.

It will be premiere in the US on August 16th.
