The exposed server contained more than 419 million records over several databases on users across geographies, including 133 million records on U.S.-based Facebook users, 18 million records of users in the U.K., and another with more than 50 million records on users in Vietnam.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
\nA series of unprotected databases containing details of Facebook user’s accounts and phone numbers have been found floating about on a publicly accessible server.<\/p>\nEach record contains the Facebook user’s unique ID and phone number listed on their account.<\/p>\n
Facebook are saying the data was scraped prior to the company cutting off access to phone numbers through the app but once again raises many security & privacy concerns over the platform.<\/p>\n
