Included in the release are 59 new emojis including mechanical body parts, an otter, sloth, waffle, ice cube and more.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the new emojis 171 variants will be added to existing characters to offer a wider selection skin tones.<\/p>\n<p>The new standard is scheduled for release March 5th where smartphone manufacturers and operating system providers can incorporate the full standard in all its 2019 glory.<\/p>\n<p>You can check out a full list, as well as provided imagery of what you can expect the new emoji to look like <a href=\"https:\/\/unicode.org\/emoji\/charts-12.0\/emoji-released.html\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Unicode Emoji 12.0\u00a0was officially announced today.
