Surface Hub 2 was designed from the ground up to be used by teams \u2013 to get people out of their seats, to connect and ideate, regardless of location. The new Surface Hub 2 is sleeker, more agile and more affordable to fit any workspace or work style.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Remember when Google came out with their US$5k Jamboard<\/a> and we all thought “wow that’s cool”<\/em> but then you never really saw one and they released the software separately so you didn’t have to buy their crazy hardware?<\/p>\n

Well Microsoft must’ve heard that the thing sold gang-busters and off the back of their own Surface Hub sales they’ve announced the new version today. The new Surface Hub 2 is 50.5″ of 4K touch screen goodness designed specifically for use with\u00a0Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Whiteboard, Office 365, Windows 10.<\/p>\n

Integrated cameras rotate with the screen in a cool looking animated sorted of way that FaceTime has been doing for a while now and on top of that you have the ability to chain them together to fit your particular workspace (and budget).<\/p>\n

Today’s announcement had no price tag accompanying it however Microsoft have come out saying that it will be “competitive” to similar devices. Meaning the same as Google’s minus a little bit more than likely.<\/p>\n

US companies on Microsoft’s BFF list will get to try these out soon with commercial availability hitting late 2018.<\/p>\n
