{"id":724,"date":"2013-06-26T12:30:34","date_gmt":"2013-06-26T02:30:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/reckoner.com.au\/?p=724"},"modified":"2013-07-25T16:34:31","modified_gmt":"2013-07-25T06:34:31","slug":"5-grand-aint-much","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reckoner.com.au\/news\/5-grand-aint-much\/","title":{"rendered":"5 Grand Ain&#8217;t Much"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Brisbane Marketing:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>An exciting new program to encourage budding entrepreneurs and identify the next big Brisbane technology start-up has opened for applications.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re working on an exciting digital start-up idea apply now for Brisbane\u2019s Budding Entrepreneurs Program, for the chance to be awarded up to $5000 to support your big-idea.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Brisbane City Council keeps plugging these &#8216;start-up funds&#8217; with the idea that they&#8217;re going to fund a small Brisbane-based tech startup that goes big (see <a href=\"http:\/\/wearehunted.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">We Are Hunted<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/halfbrick.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Halfbrick<\/a> etc).
