Out of nowhere, Nintendo has announced another 3DS hardware revision: the New 2DS XL. As the name suggests, this takes features from the New 3DS, like the C-stick, Amiibo-compatible NFC reader, and extra processing power, while removing the display\u2019s 3D functionality.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There’s only so long I see this continuing. As the Switch lowers in price it’s going to directly eat into the DS’\u00a0portable gaming stranglehold. Nintendo are literally competing against themselves.<\/p>\n
