The only possible silver lining: will localised pricing in Australian dollars come next?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The deadline for Joe Hockey&#8217;s 2015 policy of international online retailers charging GST for Australian&#8217;s is July 1, 2017 according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnet.com\/au\/news\/australia-gst-reform-online-purchases-2017\/\">this old Cnet article<\/a>. Kotaku fail to mention that fact.<\/p>\n<p>It sucks but it&#8217;s Steam towing the political line.
