The article focuses heavily on the fact Sonos doesn’t have a digital assistant built into its speakers but I think that’s only half the issue. Their hardware is seriously dragging its feet at this point.\u00a0No 7.1 support, not a word on a new Playbar with Dolby Atmos and a still cumbersome UX.<\/p>\n
I can’t wait for their Alexa control integration but they have a long way to go to be innovators in the field again. Here’s hoping Spence can get them there!<\/p>\n
