And secondly, I have a new job.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Aw man. This is a huge loss for the Australian technology journalism scene.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m certainly a fan of <a href=\"http:\/\/delimiter.com.au\">Delimiter<\/a>. Renai&#8217;s dedication to documenting the Australian technology landscape, the eloquence of his writing, and his willingness to call it as he saw it. We didn&#8217;t always see eye-to-eye, but he&#8217;s definitely been an inspiration to me.<\/p>\n<p>I know he&#8217;ll do well in his new role as <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SenatorLudlam\/status\/479083122470825984\">Parliamentary Business and Communications Advisor to Senator Scott Ludlam<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To put it lightly, it&#8217;s been a rough year for Australians who want to see improvements to the state of our national broadband, the tech startup scene, and the entire Australian digital industries sector.
