Better late than never. That’s the moniker for this year’s Prime Day, which would normally take place in July, but was delayed due to the fact we’re amidst a global pandemic and all that.<\/p>\n
Now taking place in just 2 weeks time, the event will begin on October 13th<\/a> and finish just a day later on October 14th.<\/p>\n Australian’s got their first taste of Prime Day<\/a> last year, with the opening of local distribution centres and the company officially expanding to our land down-under the initial offering was a tad undercooked for most.<\/p>\n This year promises to be a little different and now that we’ve had a look at what might be on the cards here’s hoping the offers are more akin to those in the US & UK whom have enjoyed Prime Day since 2015.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n For the uninitiated, Prime Day offers a raft of heavily discounted items from Amazon and it’s affiliated vendors to those whom have an Amazon Prime membership.<\/p>\n Prime, which normally costs A$6.99\/month and offers access to expedited shipping and video services, can be signed up for on a free 30 day trial<\/strong><\/a>, which will in turn give you access to the sale.<\/p>\n Details on exactly what deals are available are still to come, but Amazon have highlighted both some “pre-Prime Day deals<\/a><\/em>” as well as some local small businesses that you can support on the day.<\/p>\n
