Pun intended.

Look I’m no aviation nerd, but I do have fond memories of MS Flight Simulator being pretty darn entertaining for no reason at all.

It never really made sense to me either, I wasn’t shooting anything, I wasn’t flying anywhere in particular, but I was at the helm of these giant machines that I would again and again and again try and do loop-the-loops with before plummeting into a few hundreds polygons (it was the 90s they weren’t at thousands yet).

Microsoft’s decision to bring a new version of the game to life had me oddly excited and now that it’s almost here about launching on Xbox Game Pass for PC I’m definitely taking that Cessna 172 Skyhawk for a spin in full 4K detail.
