Snips have been working on processing voice assistant requests locally instead of remotely processing them like Amazon’s Alexa and Google Voice Assistant.<\/p>\n
If they can pull it off it would have a huge appeal to those of us more privacy conscious. I doubt it could do everything locally but even if it’s a subset of smart-home & music commands that alone would be a huge win and likely more than what most people need.<\/p>\n
It’ll be interesting to see what comes of it!<\/p>\n
