Technologies like Magic Leap’s will enable us to generate, transmit, quantify, refine, personalize, magnify, discover, share, reshare, and overshare experiences. This shift from the creation, transmission, and consumption of information to the creation, transmission, and consumption of experience defines this new platform.
Magic Leap is a company with no product and big promises. Since showing off their largely criticised demo we’ve not really seen anything else. Wired’s profile goes a long way to putting to rest any idea the product is vapourware but offers no further insight into when we might see more.
It’s a fascinating read though and worth a flick through at the very least.
