The new WeMo Bridge brings HomeKit integration to your existing Belkin devices

Belkin just announced the WeMo Bridge for HomeKit that it says will bring HomeKit compatibility to over 2 million WeMo solutions on the market. Owners of the Bridge will be able to interact with WeMo devices using Siri and interact with them in scenes and rooms that include other HomeKit-compatible devices.

Belkin’s WeMo smarthome devices are by far the most reliable and consistent ones I have in my elaborate spiderweb of a setup. I’d buy a WeMo device over any other at this point and while many have screamed blue murder that they offer no HomeKit integration, that’s all about to change.

I really like this approach too. Yes you’re adding another device to enable a feature, but you’re also brining full HomeKit integration to a huge back catalogue of well functioning and reliable products.
