iTunes 11.2 Released with Podcast Improvements

With version 11.2, podcast listening in iTunes is now more versatile thanks to options that have long been available in third-party clients for iOS and OS X such as Instacast, Downcast, or Pocket Casts.

Every few weeks I hear someone on a podcast say “Apple no longer cares about Podcasts” or “Podcasts are too difficult to manage for average users”.

The latest update to iTunes seems to disprove both claims — Apple do care about podcasts, the entire update is podcast related, and they believe end users will cope with a few ‘power user’ features.
