Google’s new ‘Pixel’ phones to debut October 4

Current rumours suggest that we’ll see two phones, the Pixel and Pixel XL, with the XL variant predictably being a larger phablet-style device designed to compete with offerings such as the Galaxy Note 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

This will be the first of Google’s new line moving away from the “Nexus” branding and to be manufactured by HTC.

I’m extremely keen to see the specs on these as I’m still yet to order a new iPhone 7. Could it be the phone that finally gets me over to the dark side? Doubtful but you never know.
