In just over a month the PS5 will make its way into a small minority’s grubby little hands. To tease the rest of us, Sony have released a video walkthrough of the new console’s user interface.
The video largely follows a user’s experience whilst playing a game before taking you into the PlayStation Home Screen 8:40 into the 11 minute video.
The home screen retains PlayStation’s ribbon like interface but shifts it to the top left opening up a lot of extra real estate for more relevant and useful information.
There’s nothing here that feels unfamiliar to those of you using a PS4. I’ve never been a particularly huge fan of the ribbon interface, but then I’m not head over heals with the competition’s either.
