Today we are exiting the ‘beta’ status phase and providing the CyanogenMod Installer for general release. The Play store application is now available, and the PC client component is now available.
If you’ve ever wondered what the fuss is about custom Android ROMs, but couldn’t be stuffed rooting (lol) your phone and doing all that jazz, well Cyanogenmod (one of the best Android ROMs, I reckon) has a neato installer for Windows users with supported Android phones. It’s only for the HTC One, Samsung Galaxy and Google Nexus phones at the moment though.
