Apple previews radically redesigned Mac Pro

The new Mac Pro

Shipping this coming autumn (in the US), this new Mac Pro packs next-generation Intel Xeon E5 processors with up to 12 cores, dual AMD GPUs, one HMDI 1.4 port, six Thunderbolt 2 ports, an ethernet port, four USB 3 ports, full flash storage & 4K display support. The new Mac Pro will also have Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11ac connectivity, and comes in a package 1/8th the size of the current Mac Pro.

Or, in the words of the immortal Phil Schiller:

“Can’t innovate anymore, my ass.”

So far, the best coverage I’ve been looking at has been at The Verge, who have (incredibly speedily) assembled some highlight clips from the WWDC keynote.
