With a top speed of 280 km/h (174 mph) and the ability to travel double the distance of our current car, the Gen2 car means there’s no need for a mid-race car swap from Season Five onwards.
I mean we’re hardly a car blog but this thing is a marvel of electric car engineering. It’s new battery was developed by McLaren, which I think is kinda cool.
I’m an F1 fan and interested to see Formula E evolve but I find it difficult to watch if only for their sound, or lack thereof. Despite them smashing out 250km/h+ I can’t help but see & hear nothing more than a series of geriatric gophers whizzing past on the sidewalk.
Not sure how to solve that problem…
